Yes, that is right ,the first William died, and then came James Gibb,followed
Helen(Ellen) stillborn, then my William Reid,, two girls Elizabeth and Margaret, then last Henrietta died at birth, the year before they sailed on the "Anne of Dundee" in1854 Ages in 41 and 51 and shipping lines argue . and I did try to see if she had married early, and the name came up as a' Young', but I could not find out if that was the case , so I keep looking !! Bev.

If they had any children in 1855 or later the marriage date or least the year will be on the birth certificate.

Why has this been marked as answered?

A tree on Ancestry says that Thomas Doig (1817-1894) and his wife Margaret Fullarton Keith Barron Gibb (1813-1868) and son William Reid Doig (1847-1933) all died in Australia.

Other trees say that Thomas was the son of John Doig (1767-1841) and Helen Lauder (1776-1851).

Thomas and Wife Margaret "Gibb" Doig are my Great Grandparents William Reid Doig My Grandfather. DNA has linked my family to John Doig and Jean Mackie both born 1737--1743. but we have not been able to find marriage of Thomas and Margaret Fullerton Keith Barron Gibb, Margaret's Death certificate states that they married in Collace. we have with the Kennel Master and a few others decided he Thomas, then descended from William Doig and Isabel Leslie. But cannot find BMD certificates only follow Scottish naming . so would love to get any ideas from all Bev
