My relative Thomas Oldham Evans 1872-1935 married Margaret Martin in St George, Hyde, on 07/09/1909. According to the 1911 census one child was born and died of this couple. Having used bmd's I am at a loss as to the name of this child. Many thanks

Whose sister? Margaret's maiden name was Martin not Evans.

Sorry I got confused Thomas Oldham Evans had a sister Harriet 1876 who married Alfred Bentley but I have no dates for Alfred and I cannot find any children for this couple.

This is interesting as far as I have known Harriet Helen Evans, her brother Thomas Oldham Evans and Maud Elle Evans my great grandmother were illegitimate, but this record shows there father as Edward Evans, it could of course just be a name to save embarrassment of being recognised as illegitimate.
