This looks as though it could be him in 1861:

SMITH, Robert Head Married M 54 1807 Confectioner East Harling, Norfolk
SMITH, Mary An Wife Married F 49 1812 Confectioner Wife Norwich, Norfolk
MANISTER, Ephraim Brother In Law Unmarried M 35 1826 Confectioner Blofield, Norfolk
FORREST, James Nephew M 15 1846 Scholar London, Middlesex
HAMS, Jane Servant F 13 1848 Domestic Servant Occold, Suffolk

Piece: 1150 Folio: 22 Page: 10
Registration District: Hartismere
Civil Parish: Eye

Address: Broad Street, Eye County: Suffolk

So looks as though Mary Ann is his sister.

I found by chance this gent in 1881 census, and am trying to find if he is connected to our Minister branch....He was listed as a confectioner wife Matilda and several children living then in Market Row, Gt.Yarmouth. I then found him using the variants of names as ephrahim Minester in 1891....but I cannot find him earlier....I have tried all sorts of combos, but no success. If I could find him in 1841 census, I would then know his parents....any ideas anyone ?
