My great grandmother was Ellen Angus nee Bryan, b l856, in Poplar, the daughter of Andrew Bryan, carpenter, b 1815 in Cork , Ireland. |

Possible. It looks as if he married before Civil Registration started, so no marriage to get his father's name. |
