Hello Mavis, do you have any other info on them, like when and where they might have died? Did they have children?

If you have no other info on them then it's possible there was an error on his name.

Do you know Ida Olive's exact date of birth (to search for a possible death record).

I have a marriage 22 nd June 1918 in Surrey

Henry Lanarre 22y 24th Garr. Artill. Bramshott Camp father George a carpenter

Ida Olive White 20y Churt father Arthur a well digger

wit. Nellie Ashby [Ida sister] Harvey Smith

I can find no further ref to " Lanarre " wonder where he may have come from.

have looked at medal card index thinking that Garr Artill is Garrison Artillery but not there

any ideas welcomed
