Depending on when they died if they would be buried in the local churchyard or in a Municipal Cemetery.

I have had success in locating burials by connecting the Parks and Cemetery Dept of the local Council. They keep excellent records and will be able to give you the cemetery name and the row and plot nos even if its a public grave. Give them the details from the death cert.

Some Councils now though are charging for a look up .

Hello Steve, it also depends when and where the person died. There are some parish burial records on various sites which may help.

Do you know when and where this person's death was registered?

Try contacting the local cemeteries in that area to see if they can help.

Look for death and funeral notices in the local paper - the burial place may be mentioned.
