Hi, have seen that one, also a death for her in Frodsham Cheshire on 26th Dec. 1840, have searched her surname which I thought was unusual but no luck |

I think the surname could be a mistranscription of Olliffe. |

Re Massachusetts, when you're searching for someone on Ancestry, and put in Cheshire as the place, the drop-down list of options includes "Cheshire, Berkshire, Massachusetts, USA". |

Ancestry is also notorious for feeding you duff results! |

I think you have solved the mystery for me....the only doubts I have is that I cannot find a marriage for William and Sarah, or birth for Sarah. I know that the Caldwells had connections with the sea, hence me questionning the Massachusettes hint, there are some exact matches for Sarah Ollippe for passports/travelling so I will try and pursue these |

Very new to this as you most probably realise, do you think I should do more research using Genes instead of ancestry to back up what i have found? |

I wouldn't say so - GR records tend to be more accurately transcribed, but their collections aren't as broad as Ancestry's. |
