Can any-one please give any info on MICHAEL NORRIS abt 1900 - Carrick on Sea Ireland.

Married Mary Thoran abt 1922 - ?

Thank you, dopeydoc

Is this person related to the John Christopher Norris on your other thread? Yoy really should keep to one thread per family (genes rules!)

Same advice as on your other thread.

Potty Report 31 Jan 2013 11:43

A tree on Ancestry has John Christopher Norris, b1931, as the son of Michael Norris and Mary Thoran. It givies this reference for the marriage:

1922 2nd qtr Vol 4 - Page 271 - Ireland Civil Registration Marriages Index 1845 - 1958 .

This is the site for getting Irish BMD certs:

Dopeydoc, is that your tree on Ancestry? You really shouldn't have living people on a public Tree!

The only way you can go further back is to get Michael and Mary's marriage cert for their father's names.

You were advised on the above thread to look at the IRISH censuses............

And you aren't (so you say) even related to these people
