Seeking information of Frederick Mitchell born 1878 died 1970. Sheriff of Nottingham 1935 - Lord Mayor of Nottingham 1943. Could anyone help in finding a marriage date and to whom and what occupation Frederick had. Many thanks

There is this .....

Beeston Fields Golf Club is a beautiful, historical building set in acres of parkland in Nottingham, and dates back to 1837 being the former home of Sir Harold Bowden, founder of the Raleigh Cycle Company prior to be developed into a golf course over 50 years ago by Fred Mitchell – a Lord Mayor and Sheriff of Nottingham. The property has continued in the Mitchell family until present day

There are a few mentions of his wife in the newspaper archives but she is simply referred to as Mrs Frederick Mitchell.
