If they were sisters, surely they would be on at least one census together?

here is no birth registered for a Maud Kerr in the birmingham area either

are you sayingthat Margaret Maud, and Maud were sisters- two different people. suggestion is they are one and the same, and she used her second name

Hello Jax, Margaret was he sister who is one year older than her.
I have just looked again and it could be the same person, she could have just started to call herself Maud

I have her in Nottingham with the parents on the 1891 census but cannot find her after that date,
