my grandfather founded a synagouge in christian street stepney in east london . in the early to mid 1800s .we think his name was solomon stricofski there are all diffrent ways of spelling this.we think itis now under the stanmore synagouge if you have any info please contact me

Your grandfather founded a synagogue in the early to mid 1800s? A little early to be the grandfather of a living person, isn't it?

Also, you're not sure of the name of your grandfather?

Why not contact the Synagogue. They usually keep good records
