1901 found by PricklyHolly. Looks pretty good but, as always, the Marriage certificate would be the best thing to get. |

On 1911 Census I have Tegwen Reeves age 3 mths b. Cilfynydd, living with her parents Thomas Reeves 28 (b. Blaina, Monmouthshire) and mother Elizabeth Jane (b. Neath, Glamorgan) 21 at Oaklands Terrace, Cilfynydd, Pontypridd. Thomas and Elizabeth Jane were married 1909 regd. Pontypridd and Elizabeth is given as Elizabeth Jane Haynes. I have tried to find Elizabeth Jane on the 1901 census in order to establish her parents but it is a thankless task. I have used the year of birth as 1890 and the place Neath but cannot see her and there are more variations of the name Haynes that I have no idea where to go from here. Having very little knowledge of the towns/villages in Wales makes it more difficult. Any ideas anyone ? Thanks. |
