As I am revisiting the UK next year, I have decided to once again see what I can find out about my G x 3 grandmother Mary Hind nee MILNES later BLADON.
Mary was probably born in Mansfield to Joseph Milnes and Anne Hodgkinson in 1792. She first married my ancestor Jeramiah HIND in 1814. They had two children Joseph (1815) and Jane (1818). In about 1818 Jeramiah died and in 1826 Mary married James BLADON, and they had at least one son in 1827. Then the BLADONs disappear from my records. I would love to know about Mary and her second husband. In reply to a previous post, I was told Mary died at Burton on Trent in 1871 . I would also like to find any descendants from Mary's second marriage. :-)
