if Elizabeth was married to Edward Marsland would she not have died as Elizabeth Marsland?

or have I mis-interpreted your post

The thing is father and son Edward Marsland and it looks as though they were both married to Elizabeth and I think I've got mixed up

Yes your right with the spelling I've just got them up on ancestry I though it was an unusual name but their are quite a few of them also their is an Ewdard Marsland died the same time
If my tree is right I got Edward & Elizabeth married

Could you check your dates please, she seems to have lived to a ripe old age - is the born or died the right date!! Perhaps you are looking at 2 different people here, who could be some generations apart?

EDIT If the name is Shelmerdine, there is nothing showing apart from what you already have

yes I've realised that looking at the rest of the wills they all have b 1657 but I would still like to get detailsE

She cant have been born in 1657 and died 1807 :-(

Can anyone access Elizabeth Skelmerdine's will please
on ancestry it has she died 1807 b 1657 ? but I can't view it
