The lady on the M&S advert
I've just been told that we are connected ? I've been doing my tree for a few years and never come across any of her family I've tried putting a few things together but I'm at a loss
If anyone has a mind to put a few things together
The info I've got ie from an artical in the Bolton News
It says her grgrandfather was Peter Hornby and when his son William Marbeck Hornby married Annie Garvey in 1907 he was a licensed victuller I think it was it the Bolton area
Peter married Harriet Ann 1880 Methodist Chapel Little Bolton think he was born 1860 Egerton and his father was Peter
Can someone get me started please

This is found by googling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twiggy
She was born Lesley Hornby on 19 September 1949, and was brought up in the northwest London suburb of Neasden. She was the third daughter of Nellie Lydia (née Reeman), a factory worker for a printing firm, and William Norman Hornby, a master carpenter and joiner.
Which is your Hornby ancestor?

Yes that is my Foster
Which site did you get that off the one I got from Ancestry the names were spelt right I could never find them in 1871 I have got most of my family
I've just looked at a 1841 census for Peter if it's the right family his father was david and he was born in Longworth in 1788 and if that is the case my relations were in Yorkshire so I don't think we can be related
