Find Ancestors

Hi, thank you for your help in trying to sort this famiy out. Very difficult with common names.
Firstly I apologise for stating baptism info. from Familysearch as it was from Freereg.
Thomas Lewis (75) was on 1851 Census a Widower living with daughter Anne Bowen 47 Widow at Llanelly. Elizabeth wife not on 1851 Census and believe died btwn 1841 & 1851. (Too many to buy all Certs).

1841 Census Mother Elizabeth with daughter Elizabeth Treharne (believe from info. living next door to Thomas (75) with children. Probably stayed the night.

Believe Father Thomas and Mother Elizabeth had seven children. 5 are baptised at St.Elli, Llanelly where Thomas Lewis & Elizabeth Bowen marr. 1799.
Daughter Elizabeth established a child from Census but no baptism at St. Elli. Born 1811.
Believe there was a son Thomas but no baptism found. Father usually had one son named after him.

Have purchased Microfiche records and CD of BMD's of Llanelly from DyfedFHS but these are transcribed as Index not photocopied and could be missing entries.
I do appreciate your help and have only once again picked up on Carmarthen connection as I found it very difficult years ago to find a breakthrough.
Believe Thomas (Father) died btwn 1851 & 1861 Census. (Too many again to buy all Certs.) Thomas and Elizabeth are my 3 Grt.Grandparents through Jane their daughter.

So my question remains, how did you get back to them, as we now have 2 Mary Lewis's in 1841 who could be the one born in 1836 as found in family search?
However, the second one, which I found, has correct parents.

Will leave so we know it is not them.

He may have had a very young (second) wife.
Any evidence that Mary is still alive in 1851?

Hi, Familysearch has a birth of Mary Lewis 16th June 1836 - Bap.31st July1836 at Conwil Caio , Carmarthen. Father - Thomas Mother - Ann (Jones) Abode Aberdare.
I am trying to establish relationship between the Mary Lewis age 4 on 1841 Census at Conwil to the Thomas Lewis age 75. Looks like he is Grandfather but have no evidence as yet of Mary's Father also Thomas as being his son.
Was hoping to find info. from 1851 Census.
Thanks for any help to unravel this tangle.
