The manor farm of Horselunges, near Horsebridge in Hellingley, containing 234 acres, highly cultivated and in the occupation of William Gorringe, Esq.
This property lies within a ring fence, and adjoins the roads from Lewes to Eastbourne and Hastings.

In the Sussex Advertiser of Monday 11th August 1823 there is an article offering a ten guinea reward for information about the theft of a valuable mare stolen from the stables of Mr William Gorringe of Buxted, Sussex.

There's also a William Gorringe mentioned in the same newspaper dated 7 July 1800 in connection with a sheep show at Lewes.

Perry's Bankrupt Gazette dated Saturday 6 July 1844 names a William Gorringe, farmer of Buxted, as the assignee of a bankrupt's estate.

Does anyone have any information about William Gorringe, born about 1780, probably in East Grinstead. His parents were James Gorringe and Amy Taylor.
I have a marriage to Elizabeth Jupp in 1801, but am not sure about this link
