Mary Stokoe married Rowland Richardson on 11 May 1765 at Holy Cross Church, Ryton. Rowland Richardson was born in Tanfield, Co. Durham in 1743.

I have found 6 records for a Mary Stokoe on FamilySearch, giving birth date from 1742-1748 and place of birth either Ryton, Tanfield or Chester le Street. I cannot be sure which record refers to the Mary Stokoe on my tree.

I am looking for the year and place of birth of Mary Stokoe. Does anyone have this information, please?

Thank you to everyone who has replied.

Re the marriage date of Rowland Richardson = Mary Stokoe, which Margee has found, I will look at this. However, the marriage date I have 11 May 1765, was obtained from Durham Records Online, which I thought was from the Parish Registers.

Re the baptism date for Mary Stokoe, I have discounted 11 July 1742 at Ryton because she married Joseph Stowpard.

I have the other baptism dates from Family Search, as you have suggested, but do not know which one is correct. I will have a search on GR to see if this helps. I have searched trees on Ancestry, but it is amazing how conflicting the details are so I wouldn't copy anything I am not certain of and put it in my tree.
