Find Ancestors

Is it possible for a family of 7 to not be on the census?
I have searched for father and mother individually and also the children individually, have tried different counties in case they were away visiting. It seems so strange as I can trace them individually and as a family from 1861 through 1901 except 1891.

I have tried the variation on the name Bird as Baird/Bard....still no joy on The Genealogist!!

As with most searches on census are you putting in too much info to start with.

Sorry never used Geneolgist so no idea how the search works.
