Geraldine, re your PM - the death cert will give you the cause and place of death. As for where he was buried, you try the cemeteries near where he died - the local council should have details.

Hi. Wonder if anyone can help...I found out last year that I am adopted and have found lots of lovely new family. We are trying to trace our family tree now and would love any info on one of my Uncles, John Allott who we think was born around 1940 maybe bit before or bit after. Apparantly he died a short time after he was born but not sure when and am struggling to find records. Does anyone have this person on their tree maybe? My name is Nicola Jenkinson but my birth name is Sharon Armitage....Mother: Beryl Armitage (maiden name: Allott). Thank you! :-)
