Many many thanks, I will have to sort this out. I was hoping that the 65yr old Elizabeth Lewis on 1851 Census was her Mother, but perhaps Aunt. Connected somewhere as Llandarrog is of special interest. Thanks again, info invaluable. Sylvia

According to her marriage to William Edwards her father was Thomas Lewis so I think the baptism details posted by Ann are for a different Elizabeth Lewis. Her mother could most likely be the Elizabeth Lewis who is shown with her in the census in 1841. The are several marriages of Thomas Lewis to Elizabeth's around the right time so it's difficult to know which is the correct one.

Hi, The marriage of Elizabeth Treharne to William Edwards is correct as her Father is Thomas Lewis with her Mother being Elizabeth. Unfortunately cannot find her baptism which I would have thought would have been St.Elli, Llanelly where her sisters and brother were baptised. I notice one entry has Abergwili as birthplace, but also St.Ishmael which confuses me even more. Any help to sort baptism. I feel sure she is connected to me somewhere as Thomas Lewis and Elizabeth are my 4xGrt.Grandparents. Her sister Jane David (nee Lewis) being my 3xGrt. Grandmother. Thanks again for your Help.

Hi, I have Maria bap 6/4/1800, John 5/9/1802, Margaret 22/1/804, Anne 1/6/1806, and Jane (3xGrt. Grandmother).

Thomas put his residence at Hengoed Hamlet.
