Hi im wondering if anyone could kindly help me. I am looking for the where abouts of a JOHN OTLEY, approx born 1816 give or take a couple of years. He married ELIZABETH CRESWICK IN 1838 in Sheffield. He doesnt seem to be on the 1841 census, ive checked death records but things are not adding up. |

The 1841 census shows a John Otley in a debtors' prison and Elizabeth Otley in Eccleshall Bierlow Workhouse. Year of birth for both given as 1821. |

Two further children born 1853 and 1855 listed with Elizabeth in 1861 and the lodger Henry Bradley is still in the household. |
