Hi - I'm trying to confirm the ancestors of my great-great grandmother, Sarah Hayward, and would be grateful for any information. Sarah was b.1831 England (unsure where), married 1850 John Francis Hanlon in Leamington-Spa, Warwickshire, d.1891 Wellington, New Zealand. John Hanlon was b.1831 Dublin, d.1893 Palmerston North, New Zealand. In 1874 they left London on the ship Euterpe for Wellington, with their children Lawrence (14), Caroline (18), Sarah (16), Agnes (12) and William (7).

I'd love to know more about Sarah Hayward's ancestors - her father was William Hayward and her mother Mary (unknown). Apparently there may be a Majorca-Spanish link further back in the family via Sarah Hayward as one of her grand children was named Juanita Mills.
