Parents wanted for Robert Warriner c1740 Kendal

FamilySearch shows 3 Robert Warriner borne Kendal at this time The Robert I am interested in married Jennet Stott at Kendal 18/11/1764.

17/04/1737 to Edward & Annis (probably Agnes )
19/09/1742 to Thomas & Catherine
25/5/1746 to John & Alice.Eliminated as burried 22/01/1747

Have not found any clue to identify parents so looking for help please. Are Westmorland marriage banns searchable on line?

Try googling............always the way to find out what is online

Parents are not named on Banns.............and in the time-scale you are looking at, there was no info on the marriage register other than the names of the couple, and the witnesses

Thanks for the quick reply, I will need to check whether a parent or sibling was a witness.

but as Reggie said .................... you don't often get father's name on registers that early. And not that often do you get the names of witnesses.

Thanks Sylvia.Age has always ruled this one out for me.My money is on the 22 year old Robert.The two links look interesting,but will take some reading.
