A little tip Valerie for someone just starting out on here !!

When you post a message the responses can usually come in very quickly and we often need further input from you to be able to help.

SO, when you post a message try to make sure that you can stay on-line for half an hour or so so that you can respond !

You can also check by looking for the person on the censuses before and after marriage to see if birth year and birthplace match. Sometimes you get lucky and find another family member living with the couple after marriage.

Usually yes - but it does depend where and when this happened!

There are some sites which show you the record!

Do you want to give us some details and we can take a look for you?

P.S. - I see this is your first post - welcome to the boards!!

When you think you have found someone by searching dob or dom and the name and date match up - is the only way to see a full certificate by buying one? :-S :-S
