Find Ancestors

I am looking for a Thomas McKay born 1903 the son of George McKay a dock labourer living in the Liverpool area in 1911 census, have looked myself but can find nothing.
Also looking for an Annie Thompson born Mar 1911 daughter of Edward Thompson a bricklayer in the Liverpool area again I have looked but cannot find them.
Please can someone help?

Where did you get George from? Was it from Thomas's marriage cert?

Cant see them with the info you give for fathers names. have you got their actual birth certs for parents names?

The nearest I can find for Thomas has father as Archibald who is dock labourer. Did Thomas have any brothers or sisters?

Are you assuming that because the marriage took place in West Derby Lancashire that that is where they were living in 1911??

Who were the witnesses on the marriage cert?

Got the info from marriage certificate for Thomas McKay and Annie Thompson.
From the certificate one of the witness was an Ellen Pedder discovered that an Ellen McKay married a Harold Pedder. Found Ellen's death which gives her date of birth as 27 Mar 1911. So in the 1911 census Thomas born 1903 should be with a sister Ellen born 1911 with a father George.
Also on marriage certificate it says George McKay was deceased.
The other witness was a Michael Woods.
I think I will buy the birth certificate for Ellen and see who the mother is, just incase Thomas was not born in Liverpool.

You can't be certain that Ellen was Thomas's sister............unless, of course, you have her marriage cert

When and where did Thomas and Annie die?

Thomas McKay died 1979 Liverpool Merseyside states birth as 25 Sep 1903. Annie died 1987 Liverpool Lancashire states birth as 27 Mar 1911.
No I don't know if Ellen is Thomas's sister only assuming, and I don't have Ellen McKay marriage certificate.
Thomas and Annie were married at St Francis Xavier.
Address at time of marriage for Thomas McKay is 109 Canterbury Road Liverpool, and the address for Annie Thompson is 142 Field Street Everton. Included address incase it is of any help.
