Hi,

I am researching my great, great, great grandmother Jane who was married to Thomas Jackson from Durham. My research has lead me to Jane's maiden name being Muncaster but i cannot find any records on the Muncaster family. Their Son Thomas my great great Grandfatehr was born in Lanchester, Durham in 1840

Any information regarding Jane and her family would be gratefully recieved.

There is one Muncaster family in Gateshead 1841 - will put for future ref, but you need her marriage cert I think.

Thanks everyone that certainly sounds like the right person. Using the information above for the 1841 cenus I think I have found Thomas & Jane in the 1851 Cenus living in Winlaton, Gateshead.
