It's not impossible, but usually it would state her age if she was baptised at a older age.

Mary's MC says her father was a Tailor...
I have found a James Rea who married xxx ferguson on 27th March 1806 in Hillsborough at annahilt presbyterian church
Hi Maura
on 4th Aug 1829 a Mary Rea was baptised at st Patricks church, father was James and mother was Eliza Oneill
question could someone be baptized at the age of 6 or 7?

If Mary was born in Belfast, there is only 3 churches that have records that go back that far, St.Patrick's R.C., St. Anne's C.O.I. & Rosemary street Presbyterian.

Are you looking for her birth in Belfast Town per se ?
At the time in question "Belfast" was a Poor Law Union and within that PLU were the Civil Parishes of Shankhill/Carmoney/Templepatrick within these Civil Parishes were some 54 Townlands you also had "Belfast Town" which was in the Belfast Mun.Borough.

You really need to try and determine exactly where/which Civil Parish you may be looking.

I have looked at Belfast Town residents for abt 1808 and there is only 1 Rea listed a John Rea (Tailor) living 28 Castle St.(No other variations to spelling of the surname eg Wray/ Reay)

Does Marys MC indicate her fathers Occ. ?

I will persevere a little longer trying to track down James Rea

Hi does anyone have access to Northern Ireland Records
I am looking for Mary Eliza Rea - born in Belfast in circa 1822
Her father was definitely James Rea
Mary married Joshua Negus on 17th July 1846 in Godmanchester Huntingdon
Any help will be gratefully received
