His birthplace of Stanley is actually Stansty near Wrexham in Denbighshire. Sometimes people from there say their birthplace is Wrexham when the census man comes around.

Elizabeth and John Richards were born in Churton, Cheshire
Rosabella was born in St. Pancras, Middlesex.

I can't find the family or any member of it after this.

Thanks AnnCardiff but we've no way of knowing if the 1841 Edward is the right one.

The baptism information could be right ,could be wrong, without the parents' names we just don't know.

Have you found this Rosabella's birth at all? The address on this is 3 Union Terrace. Very similar to 3 Union Street as in the birth address of Rosabella Davies.

That is strange. It does seem to be them. I notice that Edward Richards lived at 3 Union Terrace in 1851 and Edward Davies at 6 Union Terrace in 1861.

Also I can't find an Edward Davies and family fitting this one in 1851.

I couldn't find Rosabella Richards' birth on freeBMD at all and that baptism record seems to fit. Edward Richards was living at 3 Union Terrace in 1851 and Rosabella Davies' address in 1850 was 3 Union Street.

I also found a family tree for Rosabella Davies on, ahem, a competitor's website which has Elizabeth Dodds as Edward's wife. My Edward Richards married an Elizabeth Dodd. All a bit weird.
