Well you could try posting which area and ask us if any have copies of original certs from there, and would we look at the names of the Registrar.

I would do it for you if it was Birmingham.

Or if it's no area but a required knowledge of all areas, you might get responses.

Registrars are employees of the local council. My father was a registrar for many years.

This is a shot in the dark but does anyone know how i can find out what regestrars worked in what county/district in the 1960s?
