Does anyone have any information about Ann Jane Dilworth, born about 1853 (though could be as easrly as 1843) in Tyrone, Ireland?

If this is her, it means she never married. I'm assuming Dilworth is her maiden name?

re Ann Jane Dilworth.
she was my second great grandmother. Born in Tyrone (according to all the censuses from 1871 onwards, and living in gateshead). Her husband's name was Alexander Barr, though I have been unable to find any records of their marriage, nor any definite records of her at all prior to the 1871 census. She later married Samuel Raey, and died in 1924. Her son, James Alexander Barr, was my great grandfather. I would love to find more about her origins, and also more about Alexander Barr, supposedly born in 1852 in County Down, Ireland, though i suspect he may have been actually born in Glasgow. Any information would be welcome.

Thankyou all for your helpful replies. I have looked at the mentioned censuses, and they tally with the information I already have: it is interesting to see how she changes her age every time! She married Samuel Reay in 1896, Alexander Barr having died in 1890. I would love any information about her and Alexander Barr pre the 1881 census, and about their parentage. The only mention of an Ann Jane Dilworth I have come across in Irish records is one who married her cousin John in 1865, making her about ten years older. I have not found any Irish records of Alexander Barr, but the Scottish census of 1871 shows an Alexander Barr , aged 19, living with his familywho were, interestingly, oil dealers, as he himself was in later in Gateshead.The plot thickens.

Thanks, Rootgatherer, it does look as though my Alexander Barr is not this one. It was thought that our branch of the Barr family originated in Scotland, so this is why I've been looking for a Scottish connection. Perhaps I should look at the Scotlands People site.
