You could always state when ordering them that you only want them if the ages and /or parents fit.

In fact some local registration offices will check them out and let you know if they don't fit ( without charge)

If you know enough about them, you might get help by phoning or e mailing the local register office for those areas.
I did this for a death certificate in Yorkshire when helping a friend.
They won't actually tell you information, but if you know age or probable occupation or other distinguishing information, they might confirm that it is the correct certificate.

Does anyone go to the Nottingham RO which covers East Retford and Radford and if so could you please look for the death record for George Tattersall in 1839 in East Retford, the one I'm looking for was born abt 1793 and also William Tattersall also in 1839, he was born abt 1829.
