Please can you help find Mary Ann McDonell born 1877 in Battersea.Mary Ann Jarvis married George William McDonnell(1876 Bermondsey) in Battersea in 1895.These two had five children before George died in 1904.Mary Ann went on to have a further five children all bearing her dead husband's surname. |

That is fantastic.Thank you so much !!!! I have been searching for months.Andy the 1901 must be them and the 1911 too.I wonder why she registered the children in her dead husband's name. Thanks to you too Catherine and Mike. |

Maybe William wasn't free to marry her so it was just easier to register the births under her married name? |
