I keep looking at James and Ann Bafford but occupation does not match

james bradley born 1835 in thringstone leicestershire married ann greasley in 1854
had a daughter eliza in1859 .in the 1861 census eliza was living with her grandparents, james parents.I have tried without sucess to find james or his wife ann in the 1861 census using every way of spelling bradley that i can think of also Scottish,Welsh and Irish census.He and his wife have just vanished ,but returned in the next 1871 census with eliza and the rest of his familyup to 1901 can anyone suggest anything else i may try
