Hi I am trying to find what happened to my Great Aunt.. Margaret Horan I last had her on the 1911 census aged 21 living in Preston Lancashire. Family say she married late and died in childbirth but I cant find anything after the 1911 census.

why do you think that 1911 census in Preston is your Margaret please? She is working as a servant and no birthplace recorded

Hi everyone, thanks for trying to help. I am sure of Margarets birth I have her birth certificate also in the 1911 census she is living with her mother and stepfather Joseph Hindle in Preston Lancashire, she is down as a boarder as is her brother, my great grandmother was absentminded about her age, lol.
I will follow up the lead with Clifford Ryan thanks brummiejan. Anyone find anything else I will be grateful :-)

Please Heather in future please can you give the information you have. It would have saved some searches and guesses if you had given the details from Margaret's birth certificate, in particular her place of birth and her father's name.

Your gt grandmother was also a little absentminded about how long she had been married to Joseph too. 1911 say married 9 years AND she married Joseph as Finn not Horan.

I am struggling to find Margaret b1890 birth certificate even though she is on the 1891 census
