If they were co-habiting, and either of them was married, it's unlikely that they would register to vote at the address they shared....especially if the relationship was fairly short-lived

Hi MarieCeleste

Thanks for your interest

My mother Ruth Vincent, who died in 1979 lived at St Phillips Vicarage Kensington London for a whille & in 1951/2 co-habited with a Chris Bryne, but whether at this address or an address in Chelsea. So trying to find out if they were together in Kensington in the early 50's. & if so how long for.

Sheil, the Electoral Roll only lists people who are eligible to vote and the address they lived at. It doesn't give ages, occupations, or list children (apart from those old enough and eligible to vote) - it's not like a census record.

People may be prepared to help further as there could be other records to search but we always have to respect the privacy of people who may be living and be careful about details posted on here.

What is your connection?

Thanks Chris

Have already sent you a message but Thanks This could be the correct one as the name Bryne isn't too common, did it list his occupation & age? also if it was 1959/60 could Mary Bryne be his wife & were there any children listed do you know? Thanks again.

Hi Gins,
I know a Ruth Vincent was living there at the time but I am looking for a Christopher Bryne who was living somewhere near or there at the time of 1951 / 1952. Thanks
