Hello

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could search for a marriage between Percy Alfred Peckham and Minnie Gertrude ?surname it occurred in 1895 in Ireland according to the 1911 census.

Minnie was born 1871 in Cork and their 1st child Kathleen Ethel Peckham was born 2nd May 1896 in Fort Dunree, Destertegney, Donegal, Ireland.

The GRO(I) index thru 1958 (excl N. Ireland post-partition) is available at:

One can purchase certs (or cheaper still, the uncertified images of the rego) via:
http://www.groireland.ie/

The Irish 1901/1911 censuses are free at:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
[Not heard of any release dates for next census (=1926 in both Irelands)]

Most City of Dublin parish registers are free online at:
http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/
I think there are some Cork OPRs there too.

If you don't have an Ancestry sub, then search for Percy on FS. You'll get the info MC posted (but not the spouse). You then do a free search on Ancestry for marrs in Cork RD in 1894 with Keyword=45 (the page #).
You'll get a list of 20 names, including:

Exact Search Results - Ireland, Civil Registration Marriages Index, 1845-1958
View Record Name Registration Date Registration district
View Record Minnie Gertrude Murphy info year Cork
View Record Percy Alfred Peckham info year Cork

You then go back to FS and search for all possible spouses to make sure they're on p 45 in the same quarter as Percy.
