As there were no penalties for not registering births until 1875, the child aged 2 may simply not have been registered, and the registration you found relate to a totally different child |

Bear in mind that the 1859 birth may not have been registered. |

HHHHmmmm- thanks! Its just the only birth is for 1856-and that makes him 5! Thanks anyway. was hoping it was wrong. |
