so her birth year ranges from 1789 to 1796

but she does seem to have been born in Hull, Yorkshire



I cannot find anything on her before the 1841 census

Could she have been married before? she could have been anything from 29 to 36 which is quite old for a first marriage

Many Thanks for this info,(I've just began researching and I'm amazed how helpful people are) the birthdate I have for Caroline is 1789 in Hull (her birth date seems to change a little) George Norton married Caroline Chrystel in 1825 and in 1841 were living at Claypath St Nicholas Durham and Lanchester.
