I was wondering if someone could please help me find a death/burial for John Roweth, he was born in 1843 March, Cambs. He married Jessy Baines in 1869 in March, Cambs. I have found him on the 1871 census with Jessy and their son, again living in March, Cambs. In 1878 Jessy marries Matthew Danzey. She states on the marriage certificate that she is a widow.

I have checked the 'usual' places Ancestry, freebmd, FMP, family search but nothing. The spelling or Roweth varies, Rowerth, Roworth etc. Some trees on Mundia have him dying in 1877 but there are no sources listed and my messages are not answered.
Thank you.

There are quite a few trees on ancestry with his death on 9th June 1877, aged 33. None have listed a source.

Saying she was a widow doesn't necessarily mean that she was...........

Sorry, can't find him at all. Very strange.

Alviegal - I have come across that date before. The local record office has nothing either, nor the church he attended. Thank you for looking.

Reggie - I had thought about that and continued to search the census and death/burial records. I have also looked into military and migration records. He seems to have vanished!
