Looking for my aunt nee Brenda Taylor daughter of Louise and bert. Last recided at reed rd daganham Essex. Any info please. Michelle

Hopefully you can tell us when and where Brenda Taylor was born?

Think she was born around 1942 possibly in poplar London where my father was also born, he's name being John Herbert Taylor born 1946. Know she may have still lived there in 1964/1965. Any research I have tried on family tree has come to nothing. Hope can help.

Could have been Herbert .. Bert for short as my fathers middle name is also herbert. All I know of her age is that my mother tells me she was a little older than herself being born in 1943, so had a guess at 1942. Sorry, all so vague on her due to family dispute between her parents.

Do you not have your father's birth certificate ?
That would tell you mother's name.

Not seeing a birth for John H Taylor in Poplar

Mothers name is Louise Poole. Michelle

She was Louisa on marriage record.

Yes auntie Brenda. All sounds correct from family conversation but as said all also vague. Husband just told me sure it was Louisa. Know it was poplar or bethnal green area as my father so often talked of he's childhood. You can look up this info so quickly where as it takes me hrs and hrs and never know where to start.

When she known to be in Dagenham had she married by then ?

Don't know if she still lived in dagenham when she left the family home in reed rd. She would have been around 22 or 23yrs old. Dad hasn't seen her since then, he being 18 at the time.
