hi i have found this passenger info.
John buckley did marry a Lucy we think her surname could have been Wilson, as dad always called her Ma Wilson? but she could have realy been anyone.

Thank you for your reply, i realy do not know if this is him.
all I know that my father was born 31st dec 1910 in South Africa durban natal.
dad had a sister Sarah and a brother Eugene. am not sure if they were younger or older, but i think he was the youngest child. all born in south africa..
John buckley was a farmer when he was last seen in Aston lane nantwich cheshire with sisters.
all i know at the mo.

hi Im wondering if anyone would be able to see if they can find my granpa
John Buckley born 1865 in aston nantwich cheshire. we last saw him in the 1901? census still with his sisters on the farm.
at that time he was a farmer.

We think he may have left the uk (southampton?) abt 1902-10.and went to South Africa. Durban Natal.
he supposedly fathered my dad George joseph buckley1910 south africa.
I have already tried to get dad birth cert but no luck..

Cant say exactly when he went or if he came back but i have a record of Mrs j buckley n john buckley arriving back in the uk from south africa. but cannot be sure if this is them.
Dad did have other siblings in S.A.
any kind of help or point in the right direction would be great
