Obviously desperate then ;-)

Just not enough to stay online for the 14 minutes that you spent finding her parents and siblings GlitterBaby. I'll never understand why people post a request when they don't have time to stay online but then somethings never change.
:-) :-)

But without some idea of what they already know then my posting could be the wrong person anyway.

Obviously in a hurry as well as desperate ;-)

Might as well post the 1911 in case it is needed

GlitterBaby...........

Don't hold your breath..........lol!

And, Doug............

The census info provided is something you could easily have found yourself..............not that I'm denigrating GlitterBaby's kindness in looking it up for you

But it's so much better always to try to find out for yourself......................

Doug

Doug Report 14 Oct 2012 09:34

GlitterBaby - Alice is my wife's grandmother who was born in Antrim and later moved to England - having failed to track down info. on an earlier search some time ago I had assumed that any relevant documents had been lost in the Records Fire - you are clearly in the right area and it would be great if you can find anything relating to the Greene family before the 1901 census

and Reggie .......... your comments are unhelpful and unwelcome on a message board for people like myself who need a little help - thank goodness there are people like GlitterBaby - I shall report your comments to Genes Reunited

Flip Report 14 Oct 2012 10:23

You won't find any earlier census for Ireland - they were all pulped during a paper shortage.

Reggie was just pointing out the info was freely available, (no subs are necessary), and reporting the comments is not going to gain you any friends or helpers!
