Find Ancestors

Im trying to trace my grandfather his name was Guy Aubrey Payne he was born in India in 1931, his father ( taken from wedding cert ) was Walter Arnold Payne who i believe was in the British army based in India. I can find very little info on this part of my family and info or help would be great.

A tree on ancestry has him marrying in 1955, Sussex. His mother was G R Payne but nothing known of her or Walter Arnold, retired engineer. The MC has been scanned.
