Hopefully this will help.

1920 onwards

The records of Officers and Other British Army ranks from 1920 onwards, including those still serving, are held at the Army Personnel Centre, (APC) in Glasgow. Access to these records may be requested through the Veterans Section of the Army Website www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/DefenceFor/Veterans/ Here you will find advice about medals and how to access Service Records as well as the number for a free Helpline service

Also this address should help..

Army Personnel Centre
Historical Disclosures
MP 555, Kentigern House
65 Brown Street
Glasgow G2 8EX

Unless you are the serviceman's next of kin, you cannot apply for the records

If you are, and can prove it, the records will cost £30.00
