Have you put the title in the search box on the left....???

Also if you can't find it please put his year of birth and where he was born.. so we can have a look for you.

or

Have you trried searching for his name in the trees on the top right hnd side.. then if someone has his name in their tree you can click on their name and send them a message..

The message on here is your only post.........look at the number of posts recorded against your name.

Was his birth name actually TOM?

When and where was he born?

What is your connection?

Have you tried Forces Reunited?

Cannot be too sure of his birth year, but somewhere 1923 to 1925 for a guess. I have found one Tom Boswell, but it would appear he was based in the USA with the British Army. I have sent messages to three subscribers on the 21st September, but have had no replies. Thanks for the pointers

Have tried Forces Reunited but are unable to help. There are not too many Boswells round the believed birth dates. I have no personal connection with him, I am researching on behalf of someone else.

Sue in Leeds,
Thank you for your offer of help. I am up against a brick wall at present, but I cannot post any of the little information I have for fear of upsetting/offending two families. Is there a way I can communicate this information privately to you? I am a very newcomer to Genes Reunited.

If there is a risk of causing offence, it would be extremely unwise for anyone to look for info for you

I doubt that these men were 'Tom' and 'Ted' on their birth certs.

I understand your reply, however, these abbreviated forms were how these chaps were known. I do have some info (bdm) on each of them. A satisfactory outcome of my research would make someone very happy and like poker one cannot declare a hand until the full facts are known. Thanks for taking the trouble to reply. As I said in a previous post I could give back ground information privately as a one off.
