I would doubt that anyone can 'prove' whether the baptism is for the man who married....or the names of the parents.

Edward Smith - Katherine Kirby married 27/02/1837 at Liverpool, Merseyside England. Edward Smith born 06/04/1817 bap. 04/05/1817 Walton On The Hill, Lancashire, England. My query please is regarding his parentage..I believe them to be Thomas Smith 1792 and Elizabeth Gerrard. Many Thanks
