I have been trying to find records of buriels for Wrington or Woolavington in Somerset I have tried somerset records office and the parish of woolavington but no one seems to be able to help and cannot advise me where to go for the info. My uncle died in 26th June 1952 his name was Lionel Allen Saunders he lived in Woolavington he lost contact with my late father and uncle when he married his wife has also died and he had no children it would be lovely if we could visit his grave as my father was unable to do so. Thank you for any help that can be given.
Best Wishes Pauline

Have you tried looking in local papers for obituaries? If unsuccessful you might also try finding members of his wife's family.
Have you got his death cert? It might be interesting to see who registered the death.

In that case, if it were me I would look for an obituary/funeral notice in a local paper. Otherwise see if you can track down members of her family who might know something.

Is it possible he was cremated.
