On FindMyPast there is a record of a Harry Atkinson b1888 leaving the UK in 1911 bound for Sydney Australia.

Would anyone with full access to FindmyPast kindly access the record for me and let me know what is says. Is he a farmer, single, travelling alone?

Many thanks
Debra

Thank you for your help - Unfortunately doesn't look like the one I am looking for.

Looking for a Harry Atkinson b 1887 Farmer who I learnt yesterday went to Australia sometime before WW1, tried to enlist in their army but was not accepted due to his height. Have him on the UK 1911 census and I have him returning from Australia in Nov 1914.

Thank you for looking - you never know it could be him, he has lied about his age under other circumstances but he doesn't appear to start this until about 1920. The age on the return vovage is correct.
