as we do not seem to be able to find the family in 1911 or any birth reg in England is it possible they lived in Ireland and did not move her until after 1911 |

I think you need to get the marriage certificates of, first, Kathleen, if this is definitely her marriage. You can then see that James is down as father, and the witnesses and addresses and professions. |

The details of Kathleen Frances Balmer are interesting, these are the first details I have of her Father's name James. Kathleen spoke with a Yorkshire accent. Did Kathleen have a sister Mary Lilian who was my Father Joseph's mother? |
